The Atlanta Dream named Dan Padover as their new general manager on Monday.
Padover joins the Dream from the Las Vegas Aces, with whom he was the WNBA's executive of the year the past two years.
"It's a basketball purist's dream," Padover said. "You're building in every way: through the draft, through free agency and through a leadership perspective. Kind of every reason you get into the profession."
It's the second time in two weeks the Dream have raided the Aces, hiring Tanisha Wright as their new head coach. Wright had been an assistant coach in Las Vegas.
The Dream also named Darius Taylor their new assistant GM. Taylor was the team's interim coach since July 24.
The Dream were bought by new ownership in February. Morgan Shaw Parker was named the new president of basketball operations on Sept. 8.
