The Cleveland Browns have signed T Thayer Munford Jr. to the active roster from New England's practice squad. The team also placed T Dawand Jones (knee) on injured reserve.
Munford (6-5, 354) is in his fourth NFL season out of Ohio State. Originally drafted by Las Vegas in the seventh round in 2022, Munford has appeared in 46 career games with 18 starts with the Raiders (2022-24). He has spent the 2025 season on the Patriots' practice squad. Munford will wear No. 64.
Jones appeared in three games this season, making starts at both right and left tackle. The 2023 fourth round pick sustained a knee injury in the first quarter against the Packers.
