The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine is in the books.

Indianapolis was the center of the football world last week as the city once again hosted the ultimate job interview. More than 300 prospects went through the gauntlet of team interviews, medical exams, workouts, media sessions, and much more in the hopes of impressing at least one of 32 NFL clubs. Meanwhile, free agency is just a week away.

With all of these moving parts, Giants.com checked in to see how the draft landscape has changed.

Before we get into the post-combine predictions, here is a look at the order for the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft:

Below are the latest projections by draft analysts for the Giants at No. 3. They will be updated as new ones are published.

Mel Kiper Jr., ESPN

Pick:Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

Analysis:"Hunter is my top-ranked prospect in the class, and though I currently see him as a receiver in the pros, he could also play cornerback for New York. He can make a massive impact on either side of the ball, and he'll likely see at least some time on both sides. Perhaps the Giants take his ball skills and quickness and drop him at receiver opposite Malik Nabers to form a solid supporting cast around whomever is under center."

Pick:Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

Analysis:"The Giants do their best to make up for letting Saquon Barkley walk in free agency last year by adding a dynamic two-way player in Hunter."

Dane Brugler, The Athletic

Pick:Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado

Analysis:"If the Giants are unable to move up for Ward, would they like Shedeur Sanders enough to draft him at No. 3? In this scenario, they don't and instead opt for arguably the best player in the draft. Hunter would give New York an upgrade at corner and he'd be a fun weapon for Brian Daboll to mix into the offense for the Giants' TBD quarterback."

Pick:Cam Ward, QB, MIami

Analysis:"I still need more time to percolate on whether Ward could be the Year 1 savior, la Jayden Daniels, but the Giants probably feel compelled to pull the trigger here if they don't go the veteran-QB route."

Pick:Cam Ward, QB, Miami

Analysis:"Ward dazzled during his lone season at Miami, throwing for the most touchdown passes (39) and second-most passing yards (4,313) in the FBS. Though he must clean up his footwork and decision-making, Ward has a high ceiling. He brings a powerful arm, can be an innovator on the field and has a steely demeanor in big moments."

Pick:Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Analysis:"There is not a quarterback more prepared to deal with the bright lights and intense spotlight that comes with being the Giants' QB1. Sanders' experience directing a pro-style system could help Brian Daboll jump-start the offense with a rookie starter."

Matt Miller, ESPN

Pick:Cam Ward, QB, Miami

Analysis:"Ward has a big-time arm, excels at finding passing windows and can create with his feet. He led the FBS with 39 touchdown passes in 2024 and was second in QBR (88.7)."

Jordan Reid, ESPN

Pick:Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado

Analysis:"Hunter is capable of making impact plays on both sides of the ball, as he caught 96 passes for 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns on offense while picking off four passes on defense. Hunter could give the Giants another receiving threat opposite Malik Nabers or help at corner ... or maybe both."

Pick:Cam Ward, QB, Miami

Analysis:"The Giants must sort out the offensive line in free agency if they end up taking a quarterback here. Ward's ability to limit turnovers while extending plays would get this offense back on track and open up Brian Daboll's play-calling. It's worth noting that there were simulations in which New York traded down a few spots and selected an offensive lineman instead (such as Kelvin Banks Jr., who has plenty of experience and can play RT); in those scenarios, the Giants would likely look to add a veteran passer in free agency and/or select one later in April's draft."

Pick:Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Analysis:"It's a new era in New York. The Giants get their man, selecting a polished, steely passer in Sanders, who in many ways is the opposite of Daniel Jonesparticularly when it comes to protecting the football. The Colorado star has a relatively soft landing in New York thanks to the presence of field-tilting alpha receiver Malik Nabers."

Pick:Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

Analysis:"Two-way talent in the Big Apple! I like it! The Giants had the second-fewest interceptions in the league in 2024 (five), but the ballhawking Hunter can help them do a better job of taking the ball away -- and score some touchdowns as a part-time receiver."

Mason Cameron, Pro Football Focus

Pick:Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Analysis:"Sanders has a strong foundation as a passer, with fundamentally sound throwing mechanics that give him the tools to develop at the next level. However, his most impressive trait may be his ability to limit mistakes. Since moving to the FBS, he has produced a negatively graded throw on just 10.9% of his dropbacks, a 97th-percentile mark."

Nick Baumgardner, The Athletic

Pick:Cam Ward, QB, Miami

Analysis:"It's certainly possible New York will have to move up if it wants a choice between Ward or Sanders, but the Giants might be able to sit, wait and have their pick this year. Ward has never taken a step back on his improvement track from Wing-T prep QB to Heisman candidate."

Pick:Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Analysis:"As the son of Coach Prime, Sanders has lived in the spotlight his entire life. So I don't think the New York stage will be too big for him. That said, for the the Giants to maximize their new QB's talents, they must improve the offensive line and find more playmakers to team with Malik Nabers."

Trevor Sikkema, Pro Football Focus

Pick:Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

Analysis:"There are rumors of New York trading up to No. 1 overall for its preferred quarterback (I assume it's Cam Ward), but I'll leave that scenario for another mock. Instead, I could see them drafting the best football player in the class, Travis Hunter, and being very happy about what he and Malik Nabers can do for them for years to come."

Pick:Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

Analysis:"Travis Hunter is the best athlete in this draft class. We've had otherworldly cornerbacks and wide receivers in previous classes but he's a two-fer, able to dominate on both sides of the ball and take over games. The big question is where will the team that drafts him want him to play? And if it's, say, at cornerback, how big is the package of offensive plays? Because lining up for 120 snaps a game, like he did for the Buffs, isn't sustainable in the NFL."

Analysis:"Ward isn't as polished as his Heisman highlights suggest but his quick release and flair for the dramatic could be big hits on Broadway."

Pick:Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Analysis:"If this feels like the worst kept secret in sports, it is because it probably is. The Giants are in the quarterback market."

Pick:Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

Analysis:"After seeing QBs get picked off in front of them, the Giants instead veer toward star power. Hunter is an excellent athlete and has a rare feel for the cornerback position. With Malik Nabers already showing off his star potential at receiver, there's no need to overwhelm Hunter as a two-way player right away."

Analysis:"The most versatile player in college football could fill a need for the Giants on either side of the field. Travis Hunter is my WR1 and CB1 in the draft, making this one an easy fit for the Giants."

Analysis:"Unless Penn State's Drew Allar ends up declaring, Ward and Sanders are the only two quarterbacks I see going in the first round."

Analysis:"If the G-Men decide to go the trade or free agency route to find their next QB and manage to keep the No. 3 pick, they could find themselves able to land the Heisman Trophy winner, too, who could help them on both sides of the ball."

Analysis:"The Giants are desperate for a quarterback addition. They probably would take whichever option was left over. In this case, Shedeur Sanders returns to the Big Apple where he attended the Heisman Trophy ceremony. Sanders is a prospect who has dealt with pressure his whole life and has experience captaining a rebuild."

Analysis:"It doesn't matter which side of the ball he plays, but pairing him with Malik Nabers sounds like a good start."

Analysis:"The Giants HAVE to go quarterback here, and Ward would be a fine get for New York at No. 3 overall."

Analysis:"The Giants need to consider quarterback early, but it will also be difficult to ignore that Hunter may fall right into their lap to be an instant ball-hawking defensive star in New York while also giving Malik Nabers some receiving help at times."

Analysis:"In the hypothetical world of this mock draft, Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll address the quarterback position in the veteran market, allowing New York to take the two-way star out of Colorado. In the real world, longtime beat writer Paul Schwartz says the Giants see Hunter as a cornerback, allowing me to say I'm filling a major need with this pick (... while also knowing Daboll wouldn't be able to resist giving the Heisman Trophy winner offensive snaps alongside Malik Nabers)."

Analysis:"His 49 big-time throws since 2023 tied for fifth, and his 1.6% turnover-worthy play rate in that span ranked second to only Bo Nix. Sanders also was recently seen playing catch with Giants star receiver Malik Nabers in the streets of New York."

Analysis:"I believe the front office sees a lot of parallels between Eli Manning and Sanders, and the Giants may be attempting to recreate that magic."

Analysis:"Cam Ward isn't a perfect prospect under center, but his confidence, poise, and ability to threaten a defense both vertically and horizontally will expand a playbook. Ward and Malik Nabers would be a fun, youth-infused tandem to watch develop over the next few years."
