The new league year is right around the corner, starting March 12 at 4 p.m. The Bengals have a big offseason ahead of them, and you can keep track of all Bengals roster moves below.

Resigned

PRyan Rehkow

The Bengals signed Rehkow to a two-year contract extension on Feb. 18. He played in all 17 games as a rookie and punted 53 times for 2603 yards. His gross punting average (49.1) and net average (42.9) each set a Bengals single-season record and led all rookies in 2024. In his career debut on Sept. 8 vs. New England, Rehkow set an NFL single-game record with 64.5 yards per punt (minimum four attempts), and set a team record for longest punt (80 yards).

LSCal Adomitis

The Bengals signed Adomitis to a one-year extension on Feb. 21. Adomitis, who will be a fourth-year player in 2025, was a college free agent signee of the Bengals out of the University of Pittsburgh in 2022. He has played in 52 games (regular season and postseason), and has delivered zero unplayable snaps on 432 attempts in those contests.

GJaxson Kirkland

The Bengals signed Kirkland to a one-year extension on March 5. Kirkland, who will be a third-year player in 2025, originally was a college free agent signee of the Bengals in '23. He spent the first five games of the 2024 season on the active roster and saw action in two contests, then spent the remainder of the season on the Reserve/Injured list with a biceps injury.

TECam Grandy

The Bengals signed Grandy to a one-year extension on Jan. 21. Grandy, who will be a second-year player in 2025, originally was a college free agent signee of the Bengals in 2024. He played in eight games with six starts in his rookie season and caught five passes for 28 yards.

Franchise Tag

WRTee Higgins

The Bengals designated Higgins as the team's franchise player on March 3, with the intent of continuing to work toward a long-term deal in Cincinnati. Higgins, who will be a sixth-year player in 2025, originally was a second-round draft pick of the Bengals in 2020. In 70 career regular-season games (62 starts) for Cincinnati, he has caught 330 passes for 4595 yards and 34 TDs. He has recorded at least 900 receiving yards in four of his five pro seasons, including consecutive 1000-yard campaigns in 2021 and '22. He is coming off a 2024 season in which he ranked second on the team in catches (73) and receiving yards (911), and tied for sixth in the NFL with a career-high 10 receiving TDs.

Departures

DE Sam Hubbard - Retired

Hubbard announced his retirement from pro football on March 5.

A Cincinnati native who graduated from Archbishop Moeller High School, Hubbard was selected by the Bengals in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He played in 104 regular-season games with a streak of 88 consecutive starts from 2019-24. His career totals included 398 tackles (236 solos), 55 TFLs, 38.5 sacks, 16 PDs, one INT, six FFs and five FRs. His 38.5 sacks are the fourth-most among all players in the 2018 rookie class.

Hubbard was voted a team captain in each of his final four seasons with the Bengals (2021-24). In that time, he helped Cincinnati win back-to-back AFC North Division titles, make consecutive appearances in the AFC Championship Game and earn a berth in Super Bowl LVI. He played in seven postseason contests (all starts), recording 29 tackles, four sacks, one PD, one FF and two FRs.

G Alex Cappa - Released

The Bengals released Cappa on March 3. Cappa, who will be an eighth-year player in 2025, joined the Bengals as an unrestricted free agent in the '22 offseason. He started all 50 regular-season games he played in for Cincinnati at RG.

DT Sheldon Rankins - Released

The Bengals released Rankins on Feb. 21. Rankins, a 10th-year player in 2025, played in seven games (all starts) for the Bengals last season. He had signed with the team as an unrestricted free agent in March last year.
