Hobbs (1.83m, 88.45kg) fue seleccionado originalmente por Las Vegas Raiders en la quinta ronda (167 general) del NFL Draft del 2021. A lo largo de su carrera de cinco aos con los Raiders (2021-24) y Green Bay Packers (2025), ha aparecido en 62 partidos (43 como titular) y registrado 304 tacleos, 21 pases defendidos, tres intercepciones, 3.0 sacks, tres balones sueltos provocados y un baln suelto recuperado. Tambin ha aparecido en un partido de postemporada y registrado cinco tacleos y un pase defendido. En 2025, Hobbs apareci en 11 partidos (cinco como titular) con Green Bay donde ha registrado 26 tacleos y dos pases defendidos.
De 26 aos y nativo de Louisville, KY, Hobbs asisti a la Universidad de Illinois donde apareci en 39 partidos (35 como titular) en cuatro temporadas (2017-20) y registrado 168 tacleos, 18 pases defendidos, tres intercepciones, 1.0 sack, un baln suelto provocado y un baln suelto recuperado.
