PATRIOTS END BUFFALO'S HOME WINNING STREAK

The Patriots snapped a 14-game winning streak at home for Buffalo with the 23-20 win. Buffalo had not lost at home since Nov. 13, 2023 vs. Denver.

PATRIOTS END BUFFALO'S STREAK OF 26 STRAIGHT GAMES WINNING THE TURNOVER BATTLE

The Patriots won the turnover battle against Buffalo (Buffalo lost 2 fumble recoveries and 1 interception and the Patriots had 1 fumble) to end Buffalo's streak of 26 straight games winning the turnover battle. Prior to the Patriots winning the turnover battle, Buffalo last lost the turnover battle on Dec. 10, 2023 at Kansas City.

PATRIOTS WIN TWO IN A ROW FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 2022

The Patriots earned their first two-game winning streak since the 2022 season when they won three straight games a 22-17 win at the N.Y. Jets (10/30), followed by a 26-3 win vs. Indianapolis (11/6) and a 10-3 victory vs. the N.Y. Jets (11/20).

PATRIOTS IMPROVE TO 2-0 IN THE AFC EAST

The Patriots are now 2-0 in AFC East games. It is the best start in the division since starting with a 5-0 record in division play in 2019. Both of the Patriots' AFC East wins were road games: 33-27 at Miami (9/14) and 2320 at Buffalo.

PATRIOTS EARN FIRST WIN AT BUFFALO SINCE 2021

The Patriots won at Buffalo for the first time since a 14-10 Monday Night Football win on Dec. 6, 2021.

PATRIOTS HAVE A WINNING RECORD THROUGH FIRST FIVE GAMES FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 2019

The Patriots have a winning record after the first five games for the first time since starting the year 8-0 in 2019.

DIGGS GOES OVER 100 YARDS FOR SECOND STRAIGHT WEEK

WR Stefon Diggs had his second straight 100-yard game after finishing with 10 receptions for 146 yards. He had 6 receptions for 101 yards vs. Carolina the previous week. It is Diggs' first time with consecutive 100-yard games since a stretch of four straight 100-yard games in 2023 when he played for Buffalo. Diggs is the first Patriots player with back-to-back 100-yard receiving games in the same season since WR Julian Edelman in 2019 with 110 yards at Washington (10/6) followed by 113 yards vs. the New York Giants (10/10).

DIGGS HAS 18TH CAREER GAME WITH AT LEAST 10 RECEPTIONS

Diggs had his 18th career game with at least 10 receptions. He needs two more such games to join Davante Adams (23), Antonio Brown (23), Andre Johnson (22) and Keenan Allen (20) as the fifth player to reach at least 20 games with 10 or more receptions. The last Patriots player with at least 10 receptions in a a game was Kendrick Bourne at Las Vegas on Oct. 15, 2023.

STEVENSON SCORES FIRST TOUCHDOWNS OF THE SEASON

RB Rhamondre Stevenson scored his first touchdowns of the season at Buffalo. He culminated a 5-play, 74-yard drive with his first touchdown of the season on a 4-yard run in the third quarter. He scored his second touchdown on a 7-yard run to finish an 11-play, 90-yard drive in the fourth quarter. It is his fifth career game with two rushing touchdowns and his first since he had two vs. the New York Jets on Oct. 27, 2024.

STEVENSON HAS FIRST CAREER KICKOFF RETURN

Stevenson had his first career kickoff return on a 23-yard return in the third quarter when he filled in for RB Antonio Gibson, who was out with an injury.

JONES REGISTERS FIRST INTERCEPTION OF THE SEASON

CB Marcus Jones picked off a pass from QB Josh Allen to end a Buffalo drive at the 10-yard line in the third quarter. It is his fourth career interception.

GIBBENS HAS SECOND STRAIGHT GAME WITH 3 SPECIAL TEAMS TACKLES

LB Jack Gibbens finished with 3 assisted special teams tackles for his second straight game with 3 special teams tackles. He is the first Patriots player to have two straight games with at least 3 special teams tackles since Matthew Slater had a three-game streak with at least 3 special teams tackles in 2014.

MAYE HAS FOURTH STRAIGHTGAME WITH AT LEAST 70 PERCENT PASS COMPLETION PERCENTAGE

QB Drake Maye finished for 22-of-30 for 273 yards and a 73.3 pass completion percentage, his fourth straight game with at least a 70 percent pass completion percentage.

ROOKIE K ANDY BORREGALES KICKS GAME-WINNER

Rookie K Andy Borregales kicked a 52-yard game-winning field goal with 15 seconds to play to give the Patriots a 23-20 win. Borregales is now 2-2 from 50-plus yards, having also connected on a 53-yard field goal at Miami on Sept. 14, 2025.

ROOKIE JOSHUA FARMER RECORDS FIRST FUMBLE RECOVERY

Rookie DT Joshua Farmer recovered a Buffalo fumble by QB Josh Allen at the New England 47-yard line in the first quarter.

SPILLANE FORCED A FUMBLE AND HAWKINS RECOVERED

LB Robert Spillane forced a fumble after a short reception by WR Keon Coleman that was recovered by S Jaylinn Hawkins at the Buffalo 10-yard line the first quarter to set up a 30-yard field goal. It is Spillane's second career forced fumble and first with the Patriots. His only other forced fumble was on Dec. 14, 2023 vs. the LA Chargers when he played for Las Vegas. Spillane finished with a team-leading 8 total tackles.

SCHOOLER SEES FIRST ACTION OF THE SEASON ON DEFENSE

S Brenden Schooler saw his first snaps on defense in 2025 when he entered the game at safety in the third quarter.

LINEUP NOTES

LB Jahlani Tavai played in his first game of the season after being activated to the 53-man roster after starting the season on injured reserve. He saw his first ation on the kickoff return team on the game's opening kickoff. He also saw action at linebacker.

OL Jared Wilson returned to the starting lineup at left guard after missing the Carolina game due to injury.

Keion White made his first start of the season when he lined up in place of K'Lavon Chaisson, who was inactive due to injury.
